On September 27, the “China-ASEAN Future Talent Dialogue Conference” (hereinafter referred to as the “Dialogue”) was held at Beijing Language and Culture University. As a key component of the “2025 China-ASEAN Youth Culture Week”, the Dialogue attracted participation from multiple central state-owned enterprises and nearly 100 students from ASEAN countries. China Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (CHN Energy) was invited to attend the conference, introducing strategic layout and development programs in Southeast Asia to the students and jointly exploring new opportunities for regional energy cooperation.
During the presentation session, CHN Energy shared insights focusing on four key areas: CHN Energy’s overall business layout in Southeast Asia; its development prospects of the Southeast Asian power market, with a focus on elaborating CHN Energy’s regional expansion strategy of “basing itself in Indonesia and radiating to ASEAN” ; the types of scarce talents that CHN Energy is urgently seeking to recruit; and its systematic, localized, and sustainable international talent development model. Throughout the presentation, the international students demonstrated keen interest, creating a lively atmosphere.
At the end of the conference, all participants took a group photo, commemorating this significant moment in fostering China-ASEAN youth exchange. This dialogue established a vital platform for regional talent development and cooperation, showcasing the vision of central state-owned enterprises working together with ASEAN youth to jointly advance regional development.
The “2025 China-ASEAN Youth Culture Week”, co-hosted by the Cultural Communication Center of China International Communications Groupand the International College of the University of International Business and Economics. With the theme of “Shaping the Shared Future: The Cross-Cultural Dynamism of Youth”, it aims to deepen mutual understanding and collaboration among Chinese and ASEAN youth while further advancing the improvement and development of the regional talent cooperation mechanisms.
